Some notes about this site: To maximize the impact of images and take advantage of the capabilities of newer computer equipment, I've designed this site for optimal viewing at a 1280x1024 display resolution. It will also view well at 1024x768, but may require horizontal scrolling for some images. The text and images will be very large and require excessive scrolling at resolutions below 1024x768. Ditto if you have Internet Explorer's Favorite list open on the left side. This site uses the Verdana font for most text.

For my fellow Burlington fans, I've tried hard to capture the look of Indian Red and Bronze Green in the color scheme. I've found that it succeeds on most displays, but fails on others - not unlike picking out the perfect paints for your layout's structures and freight cars!

I am always looking for ways to enhance my modeling and related projects, such as this site. Do you have comments, suggestions or CB&Q and K&W-related material? If so, I'd really like to hear from you.

• Pictures, drawings and other information about the CB&Q facilities at Centerville, IA, in particular the coaling dock, water tower, roundhouse, turntable and track scale.
• Information about the CB&Q/CRI&P interlocking tower at Centerville, IA
• Photographs of any CB&Q trains or structures along the K&W or K-Line, from any era
• CB&Q Employee Timetables for the Centerville Division from the 1930's or early 1940's
• Wabash Employee Timetables for the Decatur Division from the 1930's or early 1940's
• Photographs of the Mark Twain Zephyr and other passenger trains calling at the Keokuk Union Depot
